We have teamed up with Founding Committee members of a new university in Vietnam to conduct a study to determine the best way to manage a higher education institution in that country.
The ambition is high: privately funded to self-sustain its operations, truly Vietnamese while internationally connected, and this university will be built on a green campus. SECOR Asia is proud to work on this pioneering project.
According to the latest study conducted by SECOR Asia, the education market in the region is booming: thus the project is developing at the right time. This project will respond to Vietnam’s greatest challenge: develop the human capital of its (very) young but talented population.

SECOR Asia is proud to present the results of our study "Export China". Some of our key findings are that too many Canadian companies are not capitalizing on the opportunities created by the emergence of the Chinese economy. Many companies in China need to import high tech products in order to be competitive on a global scale, however Canadian companies tend to overlook China as a viable export destination for their value added and/or high tech goods. China also has the ambitions to be greener: eco-friendly technologies and products are increasingly on demand in the region. The study reveals opportunities and explains what companies need to do in order to successfully penetrate the Chinese market.
Our team has served European and North-American companies for years in assessing the threats and opportunities presented by Asian companies. Over the last few years, we formalized our knowledge through industry and market studies, specifically focusing on China and Vietnam.
Vietnam has done particularly well over the last few years, mixing robust growth with political stability. For these reasons, SECOR Asia has chosen to locate its first Asian office in Ho Chi Minh City. Moreover, Vietnam can be considered as one of the new Asian tigers; a tiger that is ideally located in the heart of South-East Asia. From there, we will serve multinational companies and a growing number of local businesses. SECOR brings strategic thinking to multinational and leading Vietnamese companies. As well, we are positioned to help them regarding issues and opportunities in North-America or Europe. Our SECOR Asia team includes North American, European and Vietnamese consultants.
